Last week, I had the pleasure of photographing Jordan at the George Eastman House. This was my last photo shoot before graduation, and I think it was a great way to end the academic year. The concept was inspired by Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby and its contemporary take on the 1920’s style. I somehow managed to gather the right wardrobe and location to really push the concept and make it just a bit more believable. Overall, it was a fun photo shoot!

This past Monday, I finished my second-to-last photo shoot of my college career. Matthew Kashtan, who I’ve worked with in the past, was nice enough to help me by modeling. For this shoot, I really wanted to push the cinematic quality of the image, and carefully balance available light with strobe light. Overall, I love the mood of this image.
Side note: While shooting on location for a few years, I’ve come to appreciate all the old and beautiful architectures in the city of Rochester. I think it’s uncommon for cities to have such elegantly designed buildings that have aged so gracefully, and yet Rochester is filled with so many of them!
